Every organization needs a budget officer. For example, the University publishes the requirement for a budget officer with a specific job description.
The job description for the qualified applicant to the position must lead in the planning and development of budget operations in coordination with the University’s budget office.
The office also includes the controller’s office, Chief Executive Officers, Associate Vice Presidents, and other administrators with the budget guidelines of yearly funding documentation from legislative requests. The candidate is to act as a legislative liaison with external funding agencies to provide specific data and analysis.
